Welder Qualified to 6G Standard for Carbon Steel (Local hire)

• Lead a welding crew, providing clear direction and technical guidance
• Ensure full compliance with WPS across all joints
• Maintain accurate weld maps and ensure robust traceability upkeep
• Monitor and actively work to reduce weld repair rates
• Coordinate closely with QC and NDT personnel for timely weld releases
• Manage consumable control, including proper storage and issue
• Ensure strict compliance with all hot-work permit requirements
• Conduct toolbox talks and deliver crew HSE briefings

• Valid 6G coded-welder qualification for carbon steel pipe (ASME BPVC Section IX)
• Demonstrated experience in pipe and structural welding within oil and gas environments
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting welding procedure specifications (WPS) and weld maps
• Ability to communicate effectively in basic English for site operations
• Experience working under international HSE management systems

• Multiple process codings (SMAW, GTAW, FCAW)
• Shutdown and turnaround exposure
• Previous rotational or remote-site assignments
• Arabic language ability
• CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector certification
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification
• 6G Welder Performance Qualification (ASME Section IX) certification
