Welder Qualified to 6G Standard for Austenitic and Duplex Stainless Steel (Local hire)

• Provide lead-welder direction and technical guidance to a welding crew
• Ensure strict WPS compliance across all weld joints
• Maintain accurate weld-map and traceability records for completed work
• Monitor and actively work to reduce weld repair rates
• Coordinate effectively with Quality Control (QC) and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) teams for weld releases
• Manage consumable control and inventory for the welding team
• Ensure full compliance with hot-work permit requirements
• Conduct toolbox talks and deliver HSE briefings to the welding crew

• Possess a valid coded-welder qualification to 6G standard, specifically for austenitic and duplex stainless steels
• Demonstrate extensive pipe and structural welding experience in oil and gas settings
• Show proficiency in interpreting welding procedure specifications (WPS) and weld maps
• Be able to communicate effectively in basic English for site operations
• Have proven experience on oil and gas production sites

• Multiple process codings (SMAW, GTAW, FCAW)
• Shutdown and turnaround exposure
• Previous rotational or remote-site assignments
• Arabic language ability
• 6G Welder Performance Qualification (ASME Section IX) certification
