QA/QC Lead (Iraqi | Local hire)

• Own the site quality function, ensuring all activities align with project quality objectives
• Develop and manage the overall quality plan and the complete suite of inspection and test plans (ITPs)
• Lead and implement the audit program, ensuring compliance with quality management systems
• Drive welding-quality key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed
• Facilitate the competency development of inspection personnel on site
• Serve as the primary interface with clients and certifying authorities on quality matters
• Oversee the preparation and review of final documentation dossiers
• Ensure accurate control of welding consumables and material traceability systems
• Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and punch-list registers effectively
• Coordinate third-party inspection activities to support project requirements

• Hold an engineering degree or possess a strong inspection-trade background
• Demonstrate extensive QA/QC inspection experience on oil and gas construction projects
• Possess a valid CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector or AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification
• Exhibit strong knowledge of relevant industry codes such as ASME, API, or AWS
• Show proven experience with non-conformance report (NCR) and inspection and test plan (ITP) processes
• Possess excellent report writing and documentation skills
• Maintain full professional working proficiency in English

• API 510 Pressure Vessel Inspector
• API 570 Piping Inspector
• API 653 Aboveground Storage Tank Inspector
• ASNT NDT Level II (method endorsements)
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
• Previous rotational or remote-site assignments
• Arabic language ability
• CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector certification
