Mechanical Construction Field Engineer (Local hire)

• Provide daily supervision to mechanical maintenance crews
• Manage maintenance planning and scheduling utilizing the CMMS
• Take ownership of rotating-equipment reliability initiatives
• Coordinate static-equipment maintenance activities
• Execute shutdown and turnaround work-packs effectively
• Authorize permit-to-work and isolation procedures
• Oversee contractor and vendor work on site
• Lead root cause analysis for recurring equipment failures
• Manage spare parts and critical materials effectively
• Provide QA/QC sign-off for completed mechanical work
• Support pre-commissioning and leak-test execution
• Submit daily and weekly progress reports
• Conduct toolbox talks and HSE briefings for the crew

• Hold a Mechanical Engineering degree or a recognized equivalent trade qualification
• Possess supervisory experience on oil and gas plants
• Demonstrate a strong background in rotating-equipment overhaul
• Be proficient in CMMS (SAP PM or IBM Maximo)
• Have proven experience in shutdown and turnaround execution
• Be familiar with permit-to-work systems
• Exhibit exposure to brownfield gas-plant or refinery environments
• Possess English working proficiency

• Previous rotational or remote-site assignments
• EPC contractor handover experience
