Mechanical Construction Field Engineer (Expat / international hire)

• Provide daily supervision to mechanical construction crews
• Plan and schedule mechanical maintenance tasks using the CMMS
• Take ownership of rotating-equipment reliability initiatives
• Coordinate maintenance activities for static equipment
• Execute shutdown and turnaround work packages effectively
• Authorize permits-to-work and isolation procedures
• Supervise work performed by contractors and vendors
• Lead root cause analysis efforts for recurring equipment failures
• Manage spare parts and materials essential for mechanical work
• Sign off on the quality assurance and quality control of completed mechanical tasks
• Support pre-commissioning and leak-test execution
• Report daily and weekly progress to management
• Conduct toolbox talks and HSE briefings for the crew

• Hold a Mechanical Engineering degree or a recognized trade qualification
• Demonstrate supervisory experience on oil and gas plants
• Possess a strong background in rotating-equipment overhaul
• Be proficient with CMMS applications such as SAP PM or IBM Maximo
• Have extensive experience with shutdown and turnaround scopes
• Be familiar with permit-to-work systems
• Show significant exposure to brownfield gas-plant or refinery settings
• Maintain English working proficiency

• Commissioning or start-up exposure
• Previous rotational or remote-site assignments
• Arabic language ability
