About this role

We are recruiting multi-discipline Instrument / Electrical / Mechanical / ICT Engineers at the Zubair Oil Field, Basra, Iraq. The role performs instrumental, electrical and mechanical preventive and corrective maintenance on the Premabergo and Krohne metering systems and their control and computer systems

What you'll do

Back up fiscal data, validation data, alarm logs, parameter reports and all configuration files; verify all parameter changes
Verify computer and flow-computer systems and configuration files; record all error files; check all system alarms
Rectify system errors within the preventive-maintenance visit; escalate a corrective-maintenance plan if not fixable on site
Perform calibration checks and verification of pressure, temperature and density transmitters
Check cable terminations and tightening; clean threads of explosion-proof casings; clean panel internals; check cabinet/panel ventilation fans
Check and verify all electrical connection status
Check skid automatic and manual valves; provide valve greasing, cleaning and lubricating per the CMMS maintenance plan
Perform instrumental preventive and corrective maintenance and other activities compatible with the main scope when required

Must-haves

Instrumental and Mechanical engineers: 5 (five) years’ proved experience with metering systems in Oil & Gas
Electrical engineers: 5 (five) years’ proved experience with metering systems in Oil & Gas and certified H2B2
LT/HT Competent Person for personnel carrying out electrical activities
English working proficiency
Medical fitness to work

Bonus

Hazardous-area (CompEx) working experience
SAP CMMS experience
Rockwell PLC exposure
