Certified Welding Inspector (CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent) (Iraqi | Local hire)

• Conduct thorough QC inspections to ensure compliance with welding procedure specifications (WPS) and project requirements
• Review and approve welding procedure specifications (WPS) and procedure qualification records (PQR)
• Verify welder qualifications and ensure adherence to specified parameters
• Oversee the execution and sign-off of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) at various hold and witness points
• Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) from identification through to resolution and closeout
• Coordinate with third-party inspection agencies and client representatives on quality-related matters
• Witness hydrotest packages and ensure their compliance with applicable standards
• Contribute to the compilation and review of final documentation dossiers

• Demonstrate proven experience in QC inspection on oil and gas construction projects
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of welding codes and standards such as ASME BPVC Section IX, ASME B31.3, AWS D1.1, or API 1104
• Exhibit proficiency in managing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) processes
• Capability to produce clear and concise inspection reports and maintain meticulous documentation
• Maintain English working proficiency for technical communication and documentation

• API 570 Piping Inspector certification
• ASNT NDT Level II (method endorsements) certification
• Previous rotational or remote-site assignments
• AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification
