Mechanical Trainers — Iraq (Basra / West Qurna 1)

• Conduct daily supervision of mechanical maintenance crews during training exercises.
• Lead root cause analysis workshops for common equipment failures.
• Coordinate shutdown and turnaround (TAR) work-pack execution in a training context.
• Supervise contractor and vendor work related to mechanical equipment for training purposes.
• Deliver toolbox talks and crew HSE briefings as part of training modules.
• Provide QA/QC sign-off for completed mechanical work in training scenarios.

• Possess a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related technical discipline.
• Demonstrate 5–10 years of practical, hands-on experience within the oil and gas sector or heavy industrial environments.
• Exhibit familiarity with brownfield gas-plant or refinery operations.
• Proficiency in English is required to deliver training and interact with the workforce.
• Ability to reside and work on-site in Iraq to deliver training to a multicultural workforce.

• Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification
• Vibration Analyst Category II (ISO 18436-2) certification
• Machinery Lubrication Technician Level I (MLT I) certification
