HSSE Lead (Iraqi | Local hire)

• Lead the ownership and implementation of the site HSE management system
• Oversee the HSE audit program across all operations
• Direct serious incident investigations to determine root causes
• Manage HSE KPI ownership and conduct trend analysis
• Act as the primary HSE interface with clients and regulatory authorities
• Develop the competency of site HSE advisors
• Drive participation in HAZID and HAZOP studies
• Implement behavioural-based safety programs
• Ensure compliance with relevant international standards such as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001

• Possess a recognized HSE qualification (NEBOSH or equivalent)
• Demonstrate site HSE experience on oil and gas projects
• Exhibit proficiency with permit-to-work systems
• Show experience in incident investigation methods
• Be familiar with emergency response protocols
• Possess strong report writing and HSE statistics skills
• Maintain English working proficiency

• ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification
• ISO 14001 Lead Auditor certification
• Previous rotational or remote-site assignments
• Arabic language ability

• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC)
• IOSH Managing Safely
