HSE Trainers — Iraq (Basra / West Qurna 1)

• Develop and deliver comprehensive HSE training programs tailored to project requirements.
• Conduct site HSE induction programs for all new personnel and visitors.
• Participate in the review of job safety analyses (JSA) and task risk assessments (TRA).
• Coordinate and facilitate emergency response drills.
• Contribute to the oversight of subcontractor HSE performance.
• Lead incident investigation processes using established methodologies.
• Monitor and report on leading and lagging HSE KPIs.
• Ensure effective implementation of behavioural-based safety programs.
• Perform audits of permit-to-work systems to ensure compliance.
• Coordinate management walkdowns to identify and address potential hazards.

• Possess a recognized qualification in HSE or Occupational Safety (NEBOSH or equivalent)
• Demonstrate 5-10 years of hands-on HSE experience within the oil and gas or heavy industry sectors
• Exhibit proficiency in delivering HSE training to a multicultural workforce
• Ability to work onsite in Iraq as required by the project
• Familiarity with permit-to-work systems

• ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification
• ISO 14001 Lead Auditor certification
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification
• Previous rotational or remote-site assignments
• Arabic language ability
• Accredited training or assessor qualifications
• H2S Awareness (OPITO-approved) certification

• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC)
• IOSH Managing Safely
