Electrical Trainers — Iraq (Basra / West Qurna 1)

• Deliver daily supervision of electrical maintenance crews
• Coordinate HV and LV switching operations as part of training scenarios
• Execute Ex inspection programs (IEC 60079-17) as part of practical instruction
• Coordinate protection-relay testing demonstrations
• Authorise electrical isolation and LOTO procedures for training purposes
• Support maintenance planning and scheduling through CMMS concepts
• Execute shutdown and turnaround work-pack training sessions
• Supervise contractor and vendor work during practical exercises
• Sign off on QA/QC of completed electrical work during training modules
• Manage spare parts and materials in a training context
• Plan energization for commissioning support in simulations
• Report daily and weekly training progress
• Conduct toolbox talks and crew HSE briefings for trainees

• Hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• Possess 5-10 years of hands-on experience in oil and gas or heavy industrial settings
• Demonstrate the ability to deliver effective training to a diverse, multicultural workforce
• Familiarity with permit-to-work and lock-out / tag-out (LOTO) procedures
• Proficiency in English for technical communication and instruction

• High-Voltage Authorised Person (site authorisation)
• Accredited training or assessor qualifications
• Previous rotational or remote-site assignments
• Arabic language ability
