E&I Construction Field Engineer (Local hire)

• Provide daily supervision to electrical construction crews and contractors
• Coordinate HV and LV switching operations as required by project scope
• Oversee the execution of Ex inspection programs according to IEC 60079-17
• Coordinate protection-relay testing activities on site
• Authorize electrical isolation and LOTO procedures to ensure safe work environments
• Utilize the CMMS for maintenance planning and scheduling of construction tasks
• Execute electrical work packages during shutdown and turnaround periods
• Supervise the work of contractors and vendors, ensuring adherence to project specifications
• Provide QA/QC sign-off for completed electrical construction work
• Manage spare parts and materials required for electrical construction activities
• Plan energization sequences to support commissioning efforts
• Prepare and submit daily and weekly progress reports for electrical work
• Conduct toolbox talks and crew HSE briefings to reinforce safety protocols

• Possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or a recognized trade qualification
• Demonstrate supervisory experience in electrical construction within oil and gas plants
• Experience with hazardous-area equipment and CompEx environments
• Background in high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) switchgear and motor maintenance
• Proficiency in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) such as SAP PM or IBM Maximo
• Familiarity with permit-to-work and lock-out / tag-out (LOTO) procedures
• Experience in executing work during shutdowns and turnarounds (TARs)
• Proficiency in English for technical communication and reporting

• High-Voltage Authorised Person (site authorisation)
• Protection-relay testing background
• Commissioning or start-up exposure
• Previous rotational or remote-site assignments
• Arabic language ability
