QA/QC Lead (Expat / international hire)

• Own the site quality function, ensuring all activities align with project and industry requirements
• Oversee the development, implementation, and management of the quality plan and the full suite of inspection and test plans (ITPs)
• Lead the audit program, including internal and external audits, to verify compliance and drive continuous improvement
• Manage welding-quality key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor performance and identify areas for intervention
• Mentor and develop the competency of the inspection team members
• Serve as the primary interface with the client and certifying authorities on all quality-related matters
• Ensure rigorous control over welding consumables and material traceability systems
• Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and punch-list registers through to resolution
• Coordinate third-party inspection activities as required
• Review and approve final documentation dossiers, including hydrotest packages and weld maps

• Possess an engineering degree or a relevant inspection-trade background
• Demonstrate extensive QC inspection experience in oil and gas construction projects
• Hold a valid welding inspection certification, such as CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector or AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
• Exhibit strong knowledge of industry codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, AWS)
• Be proficient in non-conformance report (NCR) and inspection and test plan (ITP) processes
• Develop comprehensive reports and maintain meticulous documentation
• Maintain English working proficiency

• API 510 Pressure Vessel Inspector
• API 570 Piping Inspector
• API 653 Aboveground Storage Tank Inspector
• ASNT NDT Level II (method endorsements)
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC)
• Previous rotational or remote-site assignments
• Arabic language ability
• CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector certification
