Corrosion Protection Technician (Iraq | Local hire)

• Conduct corrective and preventive maintenance activities on various rotating equipment
• Manage work orders in the CMMS from initiation to completion
• Execute comprehensive pump and compressor overhauls
• Collect and analyze vibration and condition-monitoring data
• Ensure strict compliance with isolation and permit-to-work procedures
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior technicians

• Possess a recognized trade qualification or diploma in a mechanical or corrosion-related discipline
• Demonstrate supervisory experience within oil and gas plant environments
• Exhibit a strong background in rotating-equipment overhaul and maintenance
• Be proficient in CMMS, ideally SAP PM or Maximo
• Have extensive experience with shutdown and turnaround (TAR) operations
• Be familiar with permit-to-work systems and isolation procedures
• Show previous exposure to brownfield gas-plant or refinery settings
• Maintain English working proficiency

• NACE Cathodic Protection Technician certification
• API 570 Piping Inspector
• H2S Awareness (OPITO-approved) certification
