Civil Engineer (Iraqi | Local Hire)

• Supervise civil works crews to ensure adherence to project specifications and schedules
• Oversee earthworks and foundation execution oversight, including proper grading and compaction
• Coordinate concrete pour planning and quality control activities, including concrete batching and pouring
• Supervise structural steel erection, ensuring alignment and proper fastening
• Verify survey control and setting-out checks for all civil structures and equipment foundations and plinths
• Ensure ITP compliance and sign-off on inspections for completed works
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors performing civil construction tasks
• Track materials approvals to ensure only compliant materials are utilized
• Ensure strict compliance with permit-to-work systems on site
• Compile daily and weekly progress reports for civil activities
• Conduct toolbox talks and HSE briefings for the civil crew

• Hold a civil engineering degree or a recognized construction qualification
• Possess site supervision experience on industrial projects, preferably within oil and gas plant construction
• Demonstrate a strong background in concrete and steel-structure construction
• Be proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
• Familiarity with Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and inspection-request processes
• Experience in subcontractor management
• Maintain English working proficiency

• Temporary Works Coordinator Training
• Previous rotational or remote-site assignments
• Arabic language ability

• Project Management Professional (PMP)
